Faye Rigkou

Design & Feasibility Research

My role at GRK Architecture covers design development, feasibility studies, and the preparation of planning and building regulations packages.

Day to day, I’m involved in taking projects from early ideas through to detailed design, ensuring everything is both creative and practical. That includes assessing what’s achievable, developing design solutions, and producing the technical information needed for approvals and construction.

I also contribute to the wider direction of the business, helping ensure our work remains considered, consistent and aligned with the level of quality we aim to deliver on every project.

How did you get into architecture, design, or planning?
I’ve always been drawn to art and design, with drawing and painting being my first creative outlet.

That early interest naturally developed into architecture, as it offered a way to turn creativity into something tangible and meaningful.

I moved from Greece to the UK to study architecture, completing my bachelor’s degree in Leeds. Since then, I’ve worked across Leicester and London, gaining experience on a range of projects, before completing my master’s through an apprenticeship at London South Bank University.
